I am an all around geek and I never really grew up. 

 

As a kid I would always run home to get on my Nintendo or go to my older sisters best friends house just because she understood my love for gaming. My mom always wanted me to be more girly but as a kid I was always one of the boys, I guess that never changed. I was always picked on because I wasn't allowed to shave my legs (come on i was 12) and I was the skinny goofball with super frizzy hair. This got me into detention A LOT because I would try to beat the crap out of those boys. 

 

High school years for me revolved fully around JROTC, I always loved music and dance but never took it on. Drama club always caught my attention but I was the shy girl that never spoke up when it came to things I wanted or liked. I was one of those kinds of girls that would be on the computer on a doll maker site or recording myself making home movies and making horrible karaoke videos. 

When I call my self a geek I don't mean school wise, school was very difficult for me and I pretty much never knew what any teacher was talking about. Except english, I always found a passion for writing, oh and grammatically correcting my friends (insert scrunched silly face here). 

 

Skipping a few years into the future, college came around and I finally started learning how to "dress like a girl" and wear makeup. This was where I took on my hobby as a photographer, I bought myself my first DSLR and had fun taking pictures of all my girl friends. Who would've thought years down the line thats what stimulated my career choice, I was just a 17 year old with a brand new toy.

 

Here I am now, with my love for photography and geekiness I am a social media influencer with over 60k followers on instagram as a cosplay model. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would gain more than 1,000 followers.
