When and how did you get started in Cosplay?

In 2013 I stumbled upon the community, I had just shot as Jessica Rabbit when I heard about a local Comic Con. I thought it would be a fun event and once I got there it opened my eyes to a new world. I didn't know my love for dressing up was an actual thing, my first actual cosplay knowing it was a cosplay was Subzero.

Is there something not going on in the cosplay world that you would want to see or is there something you would want to change?

I want to see less drama in the cosplay community. Since nerd became the new cool, everyone now Cosplay's. I think it's awesome that it's become a trend but it's also brought a lot of negativity. People try to bully others and make them feel like they aren't good enough to cosplay. It's like high school all over again! This community is supposed to bring people together who share the same common interest in all things we were made fun of when we were younger. I can go on for hours about this subject but won't. Just know that cosplay is for EVERYBODY.

Whats your favorite Cosplay?

I love all my spider verse characters as well as my Disney princess characters. My top from each has to be Venom from when I did a liquid latex photoshoot and Princess Ariel.

Cosplay Inspirations?

My inspirations come from many amazing cosplayers. Azzyland was a huge inspiration when I started and I was able to talk to her and get pointers when crafting. I get inspired from the most followed cosplayers as well as the unknown diamonds in the rough.

Favorite Villains and Heroes?

Villain would have to be Hades from Hercules. As for Hero.. I would have to go with Spiderman.

Fav Disney Princess?

Ariel! Next question!

Actor I would like to meet at a convention?

I say this over and over until its done. I would give anything in this world (except a shit ton of money because i don't have that) to meet Johnny Depp. Life long dream since I can remember.

Whats it like to cosplay?

Well, its basically halloween every day. The feeling that you used to get when your mom would buy you the latest superhero or princess costume. Well its that times a whole lot more, you get to portray whatever character tickles your fancy, not just heroes and princesses. You can create the most awesome builds, I've seen so many realistic guns and props made out of worbla, eva foam and now 3d printing. You can leave whatever sorrows you have for a day, go to a convention and become someone else. Its not just about wearing a costume but becoming the character.
